The Senior Sales Representative role is based out of Glens Falls, NY and reports directly to the Sales Manager. You will work from your home (remote) office but the territory will include Eastern Upstate NY and New Haven CT and surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity to be a key player in the management and success of a cement sales market. This position is responsible for a large territory and unique operations and has a lot to offer a motivated candidate in terms of challenges, experience, and potential for future growth.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Three to five years of sales/marketing experience, preferably in a construction materials environment or significant aggregates technical experience and knowledge

  • Construction market and industry knowledge an asset

  • Has brought value to the customer by listening to their needs, being responsive, and earning trust daily. Proven track record demonstrating revenue, volume, and profitability growth

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with solid organizational, multi-tasking and time-management capabilities

  • Goal and results oriented with the ability to take initiative

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred

  • SAP software experience preferred

  • Prefer business to business sales and customer service experience

  • Preference given to candidates whose experience relates well to the building materials industry

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily a professional office environment but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
