Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Terminal Attendant to join our team in Portland, Oregon. As a Terminal Attendant, you will be responsible for the professional completion of all production related activities at the cement terminal.

What You'll Get to Do:
Participate in company health and safety program and adhere to all policies and procedures
Load bulk cement tanker trucks
Offload cement rail cars
Maintenance of all terminal fixtures and assets
Treat all drivers, customers, coworkers, contractors, and visitors with dignity and respect
Essential Experience and Skills:
Completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Effective communications and ability to work as a productive team member
Fundamental record keeping and computer skills required
Desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team
Ability to work safely, and independently without constant supervision and be a team player
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Capable of learning through on-the-job training
Good attendance and punctuality a must.
Must have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, lift (up to 75 lbs.), sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders, and walk on varied terrain
Must be able to work flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, weekends, and nights may be required.
