Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Sales Trainee based in Redmond, WA. The Sales Trainee will report to Sales Area Manager. This Program provides you the opportunity of hands-on experience in Sales across the region while learning all aspects of our business. This is achieved through the delivery of a development program combined with critical experiences and projects that are important to our business.

Key Targets of the Role

  • The successful candidate will be immersed in a 24-month program designed to provide exposure, training, and hands-on experience in all aspects of the business including sales, marketing, production, maintenance, supervision, quality control and logistics.

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Participate fully and actively in all assigned development activities

  • Apply knowledge and work collaboratively on various team projects related to training and development

  • Partner with experienced professionals and managers in different departments (sales, safety, operations, human resources, environment, maintenance, quality control)

  • Participate in all facets of the sales cycle with mentoring and comprehensive training.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing or similar disciplines will be considered

  • Passion for sales and marketing

  • Strong desire to work in a construction materials/ industrial environment

  • Prior sales experience is a plus

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to be a self-starter and take initiative

  • Ability to adapt to change and respond well under pressure

  • Solid interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ideal candidate will have a strong desire to move into progressively more responsible roles and can relocate if required

  • $67,900 - $101,900 annually

Conditions of Employment
