What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct quality control tests on raw materials and finished concrete products, including compression testing and lab trial mixes.

  • Travel to job sites to validate materials, interact with site personnel, and transport samples back to the lab.

  • Analyze and accurately record test data, reporting results to management.

  • Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory and production testing equipment.

  • Troubleshoot concrete field issues and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.

What Are We Looking For

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field preferred, with experience in ready mixed concrete and construction environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of quality control processes and CSA standards.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort working with technical data.

  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, with a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
