What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on industrial equipment

  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime

  • Install, align, and dismantle machinery and mechanical systems

  • Fabricate and weld components using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques

  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure equipment reliability

What Are We Looking For

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with proven skills in welding and metal fabrication

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

  • Familiarity with rigging, hoisting, and precision alignment of equipment

  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement

  • Red Seal Millwright certification or equivalent trade qualification is an asset

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
