Reporting to the department manager, the Fixed Plant Maintenance Supervisor at Heidelberg Materials' Sechelt, BC, aggregates mine will lead a team of maintenance personnel and is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the day-to-day maintenance, installation, and repair of plant equipment and machinery.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Ensure Health & Safety, Compliance, and Environmental Standards: Conduct regular safety training, enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and administer environmental programs to meet company and regulatory standards.

  • Lead and Supervise Maintenance Team: Direct and mentor a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring efficient and safe maintenance activities for fixed plant equipment.

  • Oversee Maintenance Plan Execution: Ensure effective execution of the preventative and corrective maintenance plans and coordinate resources for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements.

  • Support Parts Procurement and Inventory Management: Identify, source, and order critical replacement parts to support maintenance schedules and minimize equipment downtime.

  • Maintain Comprehensive Maintenance Records: Track and analyze repair history to inform preventive maintenance strategies and support data-driven decision-making.

Work Environment

This role operates in a dynamic manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions. We maintain a drug & alcohol-free workplace. The role is a full-time, five-day-a-week position based in Sechelt, British Columbia.
